Where is mobile technology going?

I just keep being amazed at what seems to be possible with a camera phone and some awesomely complicated algorithms. The latest example of this is the new update of Google Goggles. There is a new feature which solves Sudoku puzzles for you after you take a picture of one. If this is possible now, what cool things will be possible in the near future? I can imagine that math students would use their phone to solve all kinds of calculations by just taking a picture of them. No more homework for them I guess.

I would like to see some features which are more usable in real life in stead of to just show off. How about real time translating? I would love to be able to translate a text just by looking at it through my camera. How about adding all the ingredients of a recipe just by taking a picture of a prepared dish? What other things do you envision will be possible?
