New app: Grade Calculator

Finally it’s done, a new app from the Androidyeah.com stables. It’s Grade Calculator for Android, totally re-designed with new possibilities which makes it a lot nicer to work with. Grade Calculator is an app which will help you keep track of all of your grades for your courses or classes. You can store a class and it’s grades and Grade Calculator will calculate your final grade and overall average of all classes. The app is meant for students which receive multiple grades for one course or class. When each of these grade weigh into your final grade based on a certain percentage, Grade Calculator will help you to easily calculate the final result.

The new Grade Calculator has a complete overhauled UI. The new action bar is the most obvious difference, keeping true to the new Android UI standards. In this green action bar at the top of the screen, the most used options are easily accessed. Besides the action bar, the UI has changed color and fonts to look more an old blackboard at your middle school.

Grade Calculator now utilized a database to store all of your courses and their grades for you. After you have saved a new course, you can later edit all the grades that you have put in and even add new grades to an existing course, On the start screen of the app, all saved courses and their final result is shown. At the bottom, also an overall average of all your grades is displayed so the user can easily keep track of their overall progress.
