Scratches on your Desire’s camera lens? I’ve got an affordable solution!
It is a common problem for the HTC Desire that the clear plastic lens cover gets scratched. This basically means that you can’t take a decent picture anymore. The scratches cause white blurs all over my photos and it is very frustrating that I need to take the back cover off to take a decent picture. Bye, bye, quick money shot….
On forums there are not many solutions, except for some people with watchmaker-friends who have a scratch-proof sapphire glass put in instead of the plastic one. Another solution is buying a new back cover which would cost me 30 euros including transport.
So I went to the local phone repair shop, and the repair-guy thought I should try some display polish. This polish is normally used to remove scratches on screens of mobile phones, PSP’s or MP3 players. Well for 5 euros it wasn’t a risky bet. The best part however is that it worked perfectly! Within an half hour of polishing (use some cotton pads) my lens cover was as clear as a….well, new one….
So to everybody who encounters this problem, try some cheap display polish from a local mobile phone repair shop. Watch out not to use it on your touchscreen, this will ruin the touch responsiveness!

Lawful this sometime weekend from 300 tattoo artists mostly from Southern California studios gathered in Pomona’s Fairplex to sling their ink at joined of the everybody’s largest conventions of its kind. In over to the clever artists, the Cadaver Craft Expo in Pomona also featured numbers of pastime such as tattoo grade contests, energetic music concerts and MMA fights.

My partner and i seriously like everything you post here. Really unusual and also brilliant. 1 problem though. I’m running Opera together with Debian and also pieces of one’s up-to-date page layout parts certainly are a tiny wonky. My partner and i notice it’s not just a standard create.
